knowledgeable of best practices within predictive (waterfall), agile, and hybrid project management
that meet all exam application prerequisites
with the availability to dedicate 5 consecutive weekends, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (EST), to course attendance
who may still require their 35 hours of education / training
Note: The PMI-CTT PMP Exam Prep course provides you with the 35 required hours of project management education.
To complete your application for the PMP exam, you will require the following qualifications
A four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or university equivalent
36 months of leading projects
35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
OR
A high school diploma or an associate's degree (or global equivalent)
60 months of leading projects
35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
Note: If you do not meet the PMP exam prerequisites, we do not recommend registering for the PMI Toronto PMP Exam Prep course. We recommend students write the exam shortly after completing the course and if you will not be eligible to write the exam after completing the course, we advise aspiring students to register once those requirements can be met.
Agenda / Schedule - Time & Activity Management:
The PMI-CTT's Virtual PMP Exam Preparation course runs on 5 consecutive weekends from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. (EST). The course dates are March 12-13, March 19-20, March 26-27, April 2-3 and April 9-10.
All of the instructors are earners of the Authorized Training Partner Program badge and authorized by PMI to support the professional development needs of future or current PMI practitioners and stakeholders in their pursuit of PMI Credentials.

Vijay has over 18 years of Program and Project delivery experience in Financial, Consumer Packaged Goods, Telecommunications, Community Development and Forestry programs. In addition, Vijay has been teaching with PMI Toronto over a 15 years PMP Prep course. Vijay has delivered traditional waterfall, agile projects. He has led organizational transformational programs involving IT as well as business.
Nadine is a PMP and graduate of the Yale School of Management Executive Education Women's Leadership Program. She is a Leader with decades of experience successfully implementing projects and proudly coaching global, cross-functional teams. Nadine has significant experience in training delivery and PMP exam prep content. She is fluent in Spanish and passionate to support the development of project management and leadership skills for those who have a limitless thirst for their own self-development.
An advocate for education, inclusion, and developing future leaders, Ellie is an engaging educator, coach, trainer, mentor, and change agent. Ellie incorporates a risk mindset in developing strategic plans, leading projects, programs and portfolios, and teaches skills in all aspects of being a leader in today’s era. Ellie actively engages in the community of practice as a sought-out speaker/panellist and is energized in collaborating and actively building relationships to achieve business and educational objectives.
Jennifer Fetter is a seasoned project management professional and an award-winning instructor. She has taught 300+ students in their quest for a Master’s Certificate in Project Management and is passionate about lifelong learning and sharing the craft with others to further their goals and the profession. Jennifer is delighted to keep in touch with students to support and congratulate them on their journey in achieving goals. Her experience running projects, establishing project management offices, and working across industries and methodologies (Predictive, Agile and Hybrid), informs and enriches student learning experiences, sharing relevant examples across diverse audiences. Jennifer’s experience, certificates, and certifications in project management (PMP, CSM), Business Analysis and Organization Change Management (Prosci) improves student experiences in understanding the full breadth of disciplines that influence project success.
Peter Monkhouse is the co-founder of NewGenP, a training and consulting company. Peter teaches project management courses at Ryerson University, University of Toronto, and University of Calgary. Peter has actively led projects and project managers in the areas of education, consulting, engineering, information technology, health, and organizational change for multinational organizations. Peter has been an active volunteer with PMI for 25 years including serving on the PMI Board of Directors and Chair of the 2012 PMI Board.
Lynn Shannon, B.Ed., Dip. Sp.Ed., PMP, PBA, DASM, DASSM has over 30 years of project management experience working for major Canadian organizations. Lynn served on the Board of PMI Toronto, is a Past President, and has held several global volunteer roles within PMI. She has presented at conferences all over North America and Europe. Currently, Lynn is involved in professional training. An experienced instructor, she has taught with PMI Toronto, Ryerson University, Centennial College and the University of Toronto.
Frank has over 34 years public sector experience with Industry Canada, Treasury Board, and Foreign Affairs Canada plus, following his retirement, a further 16 years of consulting and training experience. He holds the PMP, PMI-RMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner and Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certifications. He is also a PMI-certified PMP Exam Prep Instructor and a certified PRINCE2 Instructor. Frank has a Masters in Public Administration from Carleton University and a Bachelors from Laurentian University.
Joanna is Co-Founder of NewGenP and co-author of the best selling book, Gen P: New Generation of Product Owners Who Care About Customers. She has led successful transformation initiatives in Financial Services for the last 15+ years in Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean. She teaches for the University of Toronto, she is a board member for Product Owner Toronto, and speaker to various events, including projectmanagement.com.
