Overview:

 PMI-CTT Chapter Presents

The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) certification offers recognition to practitioners who are interested in or are just starting a career in project management, as well as project team members who wish to demonstrate their project management knowledge.

This course is intended for individuals preparing to write the PMI certification exam to obtain their CAPM designation. In this course, students will review the PMBOK knowledge areas, inputs, tools & techniques, outputs, best practices, and skills that are essential to professional project management.

 

What You'll Learn: 

 

Candidates applying for certification as Certified Associate in Project Management must satisfy the educational and experiential requirements for one of the following categories listed below and agree to abide by the Project Management Institute Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

 

  • A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent)

  • 24 hours of project management education/training

He is also an avid coach and mentor on project management with two decades of teaching experience to adult learners and a PMI PMP Exam Review facilitator with PMI Toronto for over 10 years

Vijay Chander

PMP

Vijay has over 18 years of Program and Project delivery experience in Financial, Consumer Packaged Goods, Telecommunications, Community Development and Forestry programs. In addition, Vijay has been teaching with PMI Toronto over a 15 years PMP Prep course. Vijay has delivered traditional waterfall, agile projects. He has led organizational transformational programs involving IT as well as business.

Bassel Haliak

PMP

Bassel is a certified Project Management Professional-PMP since 2010, holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, and a certificate in the Canadian Construction Law. With up to 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Bassel worked in several roles including project management, engineering, and sales, and is most recently leading a team of project professionals in his capacity as an Area Contracting Manager for Trane Technologies in Toronto, where he was successful in driving down cost variances and scope creep in projects.
