Director, Professional Development and President-Elect; Mr. Hamud began volunteering with PMI-CTT in January 2020 as VP Certification. He led the certification team to review, develop, and continuously improve educational training, workshops, webinars, and courses for the advancement of project management knowledge, and the preparation for PMI certification. In September 2021, he was elected to the Board as Director, Professional Development. After a year in this role, he was elected as President-Elect, assisting President Mr. Ming Li, and preparing for the assumption of presidential duties in September 2023. Mr. Hamud has been a PMI member since 2009, achieving his Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) designations in 2012. Mr. Hamud currently works with BWXT Canada, with 15+ years of Canadian and International experience in project and risk management, including infrastructure, Oil & Gas, and Nuclear Energy. Mr. Hamud holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and is a member in good standing of Professional Engineers Ontario. He also has credentials in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Raponi began volunteering with PMI-CTT in December 2020 as Certification Manager, he worked as part of the certification team to review, develop, and continuously improve educational training, workshops, webinars, and courses for the benefit of PMI-CTT chapter members. In September 2021, he was promoted to the role of VP-Certification. Mr. Raponi has been a PMI member since 2014, achieving his Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) designation in 2014 and his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2016. He is currently working towards achieving his Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) designation. Mr. Raponi currently works for John Cockerill Energy, with 9 years of Canadian and International experience in project and product management in the plastics, automotive, oil & gas, and energy industries. Mr. Raponi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, and is a registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario. He has also completed the Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies.
