Lean Green Belt Training Session

Requirements & Training Details:

Lean Yellow Belt certification is required. The Trainer only wants you to bring one medium-size process from your current or previous job. We have planned numerous group exercises in the classroom to engage you. You will be able to apply Lean principles, Lean philosophies, methodologies, and tools in your processes and through experiential exercises that we have designed for easy learning and faster adoption.

Where- Virtual On-line training session, training details and links will be sent 2 days ahead of the training. Trainer will use Microsoft Teams as a training platform.

IMPORTANT- If you have attended a similar LEAN or LEAN Six Sigma or Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt course from an external provider, we will respect that. Still, you will have to inform the Trainer before registering to avoid any confusion during the session.

How- To Earn your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, you will have to complete the following-

  1. 2 hours of pre-work (Trainer will send the pre-work three days ahead of the training)

  2. 8 hours of Day 1 training

  3. 4 hours of homework

  4. 8 hours of Day 2 training 

  5. 4 hours of homework

  6. 8 hours of Day 3 training 

  7. Complete the Exam and complete a Green Belt project

  8. Submit both Exam, project and get certified

  • Basics of Six Sigma and Data – Types of Data, Theory of Constraints, Taguchi Loss of Function, Six Sigma, Histogram, Variance, Standard Deviation, Control Charts, Common Cause, and Special Cause, DPU, DPM, DPO, DPM, and DPMO

  • Define Stage – Survey, Kano Model and Critical to Customer 

  • Measure Stage – y=f(x), SIPOC, Sources of Variation, Data Collection Plan and re-cap of Swim Lane, SIPOC, Value Stream Mapping, Time and Motion Studies, Yamazumi Charts and Capacity Studies

  • Analyze Stage – Re-cap of 7 QC Tools, Current State Analysis and Future State Analysis 

  • Improve Stage- Re-Cap of House of Toyota and Advanced Lean Methodologies- 5S, KanBan, OEE, TPM and SMED

 

Control Stage- Control Plan, FMEA and Poka Yoke
